FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Kelly Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at a busy warehouse facility. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within the warehouse.
Pay Rate: $20 per hour.
Schedule: Monday-Friday work schedule, 9am-6pm.
Location: Atlanta, GA 30354
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts, including Reach and Cherry Picker models.
Loading and Unloading: Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by staging, stacking, and storing merchandise in designated areas.
Order Fulfillment: Process orders and ensure that shipments are completed on time and according to customer requirements.
Customer Service: Communicate with clients and transportation providers, resolving any issues that may arise.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain records and documentation related to shipments and inventory.
Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, contributing to a safe and organized work environment.
Other Duties: Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience operating forklift lifts, including Reach and Cherry Picker models.
Valid forklift operator certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) environment.
Experience with warehouse management systems.
EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
