As our Follow-Up Operations Lead, you will have the opportunity to guide and mentor a team of dedicated follow-up specialists who are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information. To thrive in this role, you will utilize your expertise in analytics to evaluate and optimize our revenue cycle management. Your exceptional organizational and leadership skills will be instrumental in conducting operational meetings with a strong emphasis on improving overall performance. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible for preparing and presenting metrics reports on key accounts receivable (AR) metrics, ensuring accuracy, and providing valuable insights.
You'll use your proven experience in denials, revenue cycle management, or follow-up to resolve discrepancies. Knowledge of accounting principles in healthcare or financial services settings will help you reconcile accounts efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data from patient accounting solution(s)
Identify, research, and correct data integrity issues within patient accounting solution(s)
Perform root cause analysis for denied claims and partner with AR supervisors and managers to identify and carry forward with appropriate steps to resolution
Collaborate with other teams, e.g., Claims Processing and Payment Posting , identifying quality opportunities for improving denial processes
Assist with daily AR operations and related projects and processes
Facilitating and/or assisting in facilitation of client assistance review meetings
Required Qualifications:
Experience managing a team
Revenue Cycle experience
Proficient skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Demonstrates strong decision-making abilities
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $47,237.00 - $78,919.86 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
