    PeaceHealth is seeking a Fixed Asset Accounting Analyst. This remote role requires the incumbent resides in OR, WA, AK or TX by date of hire.

    Coordinate system implementations for new operational divisions and provide oversight of standardization within the accounting department across all networks and communities. Coordinate cross functional work with IST, HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure that process flow is efficient. Develop, maintain, and upgrade accounting system/technology to support the timely, efficient, and accurate delivery of services to leaders, caregivers, and other customers. Analyze business systems, develop business requirement specifications, perform system testing, planning and implementations, in addition to administration, support and reports maintenance of accounting and related systems. Continually monitor information needs and design new or modify existing systems to meet changing requirements.Performs a variety accounting tasks including month end reconciliations, month end processing, general ledger processing and other financial & ad hoc reporting.

    What you will enjoy:

    • Record fixed asset additions, disposals, adjustments, and transfers in the accounting system.

    • Record depreciation for all depreciable fixed assets in the accounting system.

    • Prepare and record journal entries for capitalized labor, capitalized interest, and accrued depreciation.

    • Complete month-end and year-end close tasks in the accounting system.

    • Set up and track the progress of construction projects and work with supply chain and project managers to ensure accuracy of purchase orders, invoices, and coding and close out projects when complete.

    • Reconcile the balances in the fixed asset and CIP subsidiary ledgers to the summary-level accounts in the general ledger.

    • Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets, accumulated depreciation, CIP and associated rollforwards.

    • Calculate asset retirement obligations for those fixed assets to which AROs are applicable.

    • Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets.

    • Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets.

    • Prepare analysis related to fixed assets as requested by management.

    • Prepare audit schedules related to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries.

    What you will bring:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred. A combination of education and experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.

    • Minimum of 1 year of accounting or finance experience.

    • Experience in problem solving and PC knowledge.

    Additional Skills:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting principles and practices, specifically those related to fixed assets.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel knowledge preferred.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems with previous Lawson/Infor experience desired.

    • Attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to think critically.

    • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with Accounting team members and other cross-functional teams.

    Working Conditions

    • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.

    • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

    • Sedentary work.

    • Predominantly operates in an office environment.

    • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

    • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

    The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $22.70 - $34.04. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
