Fire Control Systems Engineer

Description

SAIC is seeking a cyber-inclined Fire Control Systems Engineer to work at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center with the government customer in Newport, RI .

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will work with the combat systems team during the various phases of development, test and evaluation, installation, and fleet training.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and zero (0) years or more experience; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

• Must have experience working on a Ballistic Missile Submarine (SSBN).

• Navy Firecontrol Technician (FT) experience.

• Secret clearance required.

• Enlisted Navy experience.

• Navy Combat Systems experience.

• Ability to obtain 8570 Level II Certified (CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certification) within 60 days of hire.

Desired:

• Systems engineering or cybersecurity experience.
