  • Description We are in search of a Financial Reporting Manager in the Investment Management industry, located in San Francisco, California. The role involves the preparation of financial reports for a Family Office and will necessitate three days a week in the workplace. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

    • Prepare and maintain cash flow statements and projections for each entity and on an aggregated level.

    • Conduct cash planning and analysis to assist in financial decision making.

    • Prepare and maintain balance sheets for each entity and on an aggregated level.

    • Conduct fair market value reporting and analysis.

    • Utilize skills in budget processes to develop and maintain financial budgets.

    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports on a monthly basis.

    • Use knowledge of balance sheets to prepare and maintain accurate financial records.

    • Resolve customer credit inquiries and monitor customer credit accounts.

    • Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements - Must possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in the investment management or related financial industry

    • Proficiency in budget processes, including planning, tracking, and analysis

    • Demonstrable expertise in creating and interpreting cash flow statements

    • Experience with balance sheets, including preparation and analysis

    • Proven ability to prepare monthly financial reports and annual financial statements

    • Strong skills in preparing and presenting financial reports to management and stakeholders

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively translate and present financial information to non-financial colleagues

    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools

    • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred

    • Relevant financial certifications such as CPA, CFA, or similar are advantageous.
