    Job Purpose

    FINANCIAL ANALYST

    The Financial Analyst provides analytical support in various capacities across the company. This role provides critical support to the accounting group in the areas of pricing, reporting, budgeting, month-end close, and variance analysis. The position also plays a key role supporting the Sales department's pricing decisions by providing detailed cost and profit analysis on all materials the company produces.

    This is an in-person role located in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

    Principal Accountabilities

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain monthly sales file and analyze & report actual sales volume vs budget and forecast.

    • Produce and distribute weekly dashboard report on key performance metrics.

    • Analyze and report price and cost variances, budget vs actual.

    • Recalculate index-based pricing and load into SAP monthly.

    • Calculate rebates, royalties and pricing related accruals

    • Prepare material costings in support of Sales & Technical development efforts

    • Maintain profitability report for each grade/customer combination.

    • Prepare detailed annual budget by customer, including volumes, prices, formulas, raw materials, manufacturing, freight cost and warehousing.

    • Maintain monthly cash flow forecast.

    • Support month-end close process.

    • Freight analysis and monthly freight accruals.

    • Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees.

    • Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements.

    • Perform other duties as assigned .

    Education, Experience and Training

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA is a plus.

    • Experience: 2-5 years related experience preferably with a manufacturing business

    • Experience with cost accounting a plus.

    • Strong organizational, verbal, written and critical thinking skills.

    • Strong technology skills: Excel, SAP, BI, etc.

    Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)

    • The salary range for this position is $56,000- $75,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
