  • Job Title: Field Service TechnicianJob Description

    As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing testing support for various machines, repairing, testing and calibrating machines at customer locations. You will be expected to utilize technical manuals and your knowledge of test and diagnostic equipment. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and repairing PC boards, programming test fixtures, and investigating new instrumentation and test operating practices. Additionally, you will represent the company in front of customers and users.

    Hard Skills

    • Proficiency with data entry and MS Office

    • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, and hardware/software including applications and programming

    • Ability to use technical manuals and knowledge of test and diagnostic equipment

    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair PC boards

    • Ability to program test fixtures

    Soft Skills

    • Good communication skills

    • Customer service orientation

    This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Chicago, Illinois.

    Work Environment

    This position is based on-site in Bedford Park and at customer sites for installation and troubleshooting tasks.
