    The What

    As a Field Marketing Coordinator ("FMC") Intern (May to August 2025) , you will be part of a dedicated team based in the Saskatoon region and reporting directly to the Field Marketing Manager. The FMC Intern is a dedicated service support representative with responsibility for big box retail stores, such as Home Depot. As an FMC Intern , you must be a highly motivated, customer focused, hands-on individual that thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Possessing strong interpersonal and execution skills you will implement various Sales and Marketing programs in retail channels while managing your time effectively. You will be working Wednesday to Sunday in a designated area within the province. You will need to have your own car, but we reimburse your mileage (where applicable).

    The How

    • Local contact for big box retail stores

    • Execute retail events & new product launches

    • Flawlessly execute category work plans for all assigned brands and product categories (i.e., DEWALT, Craftsman, Stanley, to name a few)

    • Achieve weekly and quarterly call cycle goals

    • Develop relationships within store personnel

    • Work effectively with your manager on a weekly/monthly basis

    • Complete all communication requirements with accounts timely and effectively

    • Working with retail stores to find new and creative ways to merchandise and increase sales

    • Become the liaison between retail stores and internal sales/marketing team

    • Ensure merchandising standards are met in store to maintain strong brand presence

    • Conduct in-store events and demos with retail employees and end users

    • Work with key in store personnel to promote and expand brand exposure

    What we need

    • Currently enrolled in a College or University degree or diploma program, preferably in a Marketing, Business, or another relevant area of study

    • Experience with retail events, product demonstration, new product launches

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook

    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

    • Access to own vehicle, required (mileage will be reimbursed where applicable)

    • Ability to work to Wednesday to Sunday, required
