Fiber Splicer

Job Description

• Splice fiber optic cables in both indoor and outdoor settings

• Read, create and maintain splicing schematics and diagrams

• Safety training as required by position

• Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed

Skills and Requirements

• Any experience splicing and prepping of fiber optic pedestals and enclosures

• Must be open to travel with valid driver's license

• Must be reliable and be able to speak to their reliability in previous roles

• Must be comfortable in confined spaces

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds - Experience with single mode and single jacket fibers

• IOLM experience null
