    Responsibilities/Duties: (the listing below is an overview of the role and does not encompass every requirement of the job)

    • Perform manual labor duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working under tight production deadlines.

    • Responsible for trimming excess board scrap from loads using a pneumatic air gun.

    • Arranges cases on a pallet, wraps and labels loads.

    • Uses a PIV to move WIP and finished goods to palletizer.

    • Occasionally moves stacks of cartons from pallets and places them into the feeder of the gluing machine/press.

    • Responsible for performing quality checks on the cartons according to SOP's.

    • Correctly labels corrugated cases.

    • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.

    • Safely performs all tasks on and around the equipment.

    • Must follow all company policies and procedures.

    • Other duties as assigned and required.

    Experience/Skills:

    • Prior exposures to manufacturing environment preferred.

    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools preferred.

    • Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.

    • Must be able to keep up with production needs in a fast-paced, high-speed machinery environment.

    • Basic computer skills required.

    • Basic math skills - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division required.

    • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with frequent twisting, bending, push/pull and repetitive tasks.

    • Routine lifting and occasional heavy lifting. (up to 40 lbs.)

    • Must be a good communicator (speaking/listening/reading/writing) and able to work well in a collaborative environment.

    • Must adhere to all company general policies and processes as well as safety policies and government legislation (i.e., Occupational Health and Safety Act).

    Please note: Successful candidates must be able to work all shifts, including but not limited to days/afternoons/evenings, rotating shifts, continental shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays, in a 24/7 continuous operation environment.
