    Essential functions (job duties):

    Participate in the teaching program of medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology.

    Develop a research portfolio that includes submission of application for externally funded research grants.

    Publish scholarly works in the peer-reviewed literature.

    Participate in the patient safety, quality, and community initiatives of the Division of Endocrinology and of the Department of Medicine

    Participate in service assignments of importance to the Department, the School of Medicine, and the University.

    Demonstrate ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion within the Division of Endocrinology and the Department of Medicine

    Unique duties

    Qualifications

    M.D. or D.O. degree required.

    Valid Michigan medical license required.

    Board certification or eligibility required.

    Rank commensurate with credentials.
