Job Summary:

The Facility Materials Handler position covers the waste processes within the Center, assists with waste management, completes audits and inspections of waste areas & waste accumulation areas. This position requires a forklift operation, manual handling and an awareness of the SLB Environmental Management System.

This position interacts with the core functions on site and the waste vendors to ensure we have a compliant waste management system in place and maintains a safe working area in the waste collection and storage areas and manages the internal processes of waste being moved from work areas to the waste collection points.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage waste processes on site

• Sign Waste Manifests

• Audit/Inspect the waste areas, waste accumulation areas.

• Collate waste disposal and recycling data each month.

• Generate and maintain contacts and working relationship with the waste vendors.

• Assist in waste minimization programs.

• Manage the Emergency Response Equipment for Spills

At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly salary rate is $22 - $32.
