  • Performs various project management & maintenance activities for Facilities Planning, typically involving public spaces, ensuring a positive, consistent experience for patients, their families, visitors and staff.

    • Actively maintains ongoing appearances of all Medical Center public spaces. Conducts regular inspections to ensure environmental standards for fit and finish are maintained throughout public spaces.

    • Spaces falling under the First Impressions scope are typically characterized as waiting rooms, lobbies, conference rooms, public bathrooms and lactation rooms, with other spaces as determined.

    • Facilitates all phases of First Impression projects including, but not limited to, design, application of consistent interior finishes, creation of budgets, requisitions, and payments, as well as seasonal décor and indoor landscaping program.

    • Responsible for ensuring that scope, schedule, and budget are observed.

    • Reviews status of project scope, schedule, and budget providing updates to Facilities Planning & Capital Development leadership. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to problems to meet goals and objectives.

    • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, State and Federal codes, and Medical Center policy requirements.

    • Possesses a working knowledge of building codes, fire, and life safety codes, ADA codes, modern concepts of form and function in a healthcare setting, and best building practices and is capable of generating and interpreting basic floor layouts based upon end-users' communicated needs, service requirements and knowledge of patient/caregiver processes and flow.

    • Follows approved mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervention and problem-solving with end-users, vendors, etc. to overcome obstacles, delays, or budgetary challenges while successfully meeting organizational needs.

    • Coordinates with musicians for music programs.

    • Manages the Medical Center's furniture repair program for Inpatient & Outpatient service areas.

    • Inspects and maintains nurse station systems furniture in patient care areas throughout the Medical Center.

    Position Compensation Range: $59,072.00 - $94,515.20 Annual

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Master's Degree preferred

    Experience: 2-4 years of Facilities Management experience.

    Licensure: None required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Job requires frequently traveling (distance: 1 mile). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs.
