Responsibilities

• Execute troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems to Robotics system.

• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using manuals, technical drawings, and software diagnostic tools.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical prints and other related technical documentation.

• Assists other Technicians and/or Mechanics in the repair and maintenance of robotics Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.

• Completes preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment according to safety and quality procedures.

• Troubleshoots Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/output (I/O) devices.

• Ability to program robotic equipment.

• Provides resolutions to mechanical, technical/controls issues.

• Troubleshoots and repairs key components for the Fulfillment Center Participates in cleaning the robotic brushes/lenses and maintenance area as appropriate.

• Completes work orders, other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.

• Assist with developing plans on how to accomplish department goals.

• Must be willing and able to be certified on powered industrial equipment.

• Maintains inventory of company supplied tools and spare parts.

• Promote and conduct good housekeeping practices.

• Other duties as instructed by supervision/management.

Qualifications

• Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issues.

• Excellent hand and eye coordination skills.

• Ability to read, recognize, write, and follow applicable numbers and directives (verbal and written) in English.

• Command of basic math skills to ensure accurate inventory.

• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends as necessary.

• Command of safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out)

• Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling of freight, standing for long periods of time.

• Preferred experience with Geek+ or similar robotics solutions

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

• Degree from vocational school with a focus in the Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical field.

• Will consider experience in lieu of degree including military service.

• Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation.

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Must possess visual acuity to read fine print as needed.

• Must be able to hear and understand verbal instructions.

• Must possess capability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

• Must be able to push or pull carts of up to 200 pounds.

• Must be able to climb stairs.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and grasp products.

• Robotics certification is a plus CMMS experience.

• Network troubleshooting a plus.

• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• Experience working with and managing outside vendors, customers, and business partners

• Previous industry-based experience.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
