    Our labs, buildings and facilities are the foundation upon which our rapidly growing campus efficiently operates and where research activities occur, supporting the company roadmap. Engineering improvements, operations with a focus on cleanrooms and lab spaces for new and existing buildings, and the construction of new buildings are important next steps in the evolution of Meta's campus. Leading critical projects cross functionally, supporting building engineering with strategic analyses, implementing innovative technology solutions, and driving critical facilities design are just a few of the key initiatives this Facilities Engineer will be responsible for.

    Required Skills:

    Facilities Engineer Responsibilities

    1. Lead engineering activities, teams and projects for the Facilities infrastructure operations team that includes working cross-functionally with design teams, construction, operations, vendors and lab engineers.

    2. Support operation of facilities systems supporting cleanroom (ISO Class 6) and high tech labs that involve hydronic systems, bulk and specialty gas distribution, liquid (acid/caustic) and air abatement (Solvent, Corrosive, etc) processes and systems and specialty HVAC

    3. Ensure integration and support to all cross functional business partners, including business owners, construction project services, space planning, IT, and lab operators

    4. Evaluate tooling and technology used to support the facilities engineering team including BMS, CMMS, and other engineering tools

    5. Lead programs to ensure project documentation is complete and accurate. Develop process and standards to maintain these documentation systems

    6. Participate in vendor, supplier, and contractor management at multiple sites.

    7. Develop comprehensive project plans and inform frequently on progress, risks, and schedule.

    8. Lead operations role in design review and construction of new sites. Evaluate and update standards based on best practices and lessons learned

    9. Manage the commissioning process at a high level, ensure that upon completion of new builds that turnover is adequate and process is thorough

    10. Identify and drive process and quality improvements across the team.

    11. Monitor, trend, and develop engineering metrics and statistical data for strategic planning

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. BS in Mechanical or Chemical engineering

    2. 8+ years' experience in design, operations and maintenance, experience working in cleanroom and lab environments

    3. Knowledge of Cleanroom HVAC systems, and Building Management Systems and other specialized systems such as RO/DI Water, Process Exhaust, Specialty gas and bulk gas systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, cooling water, water and air abatement and compressed air and vacuum systems

    4. Experience with semiconductor equipment operation and maintenance

    5. Experience to analyze financial and operational results and develop process control

    6. Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards

    7. Communication, presentation, project management, and reporting experience

    8. Experience to work in a team environment and lead regional and global initiatives

    9. Demonstrated skills to provide proven customer service

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. Professional Engineer (PE) registration

    2. MS in Mechanical or Chemical engineering

    3. Knowledge of substations, power distribution and generator power systems

    Public Compensation:

    $165,000/year to $229,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
