    We are seeking a full-time Coordinator/Facilitator in our Family Involvement Strategies Team. In this position you will engage directly with families who are working with child protection/child welfare services and/or juvenile corrections to focus on building plans to ensure child safety, permanency and well-being. You will complete these tasks by:

    • Coordinate and facilitate FIS meetings on referral from a variety of Community Services Units utilizing the concepts of the Family Group Decision Making models.

    • Complete all assigned documentation and prepare paperwork related to family plans.

    • Provide education and information on Family Involvement Strategies and Family Group Decision Making to the community.

    • Work as part of a team in the implementation of Family Involvement Strategies.

    Eligible candidates will hold a degree in a human services field and have relevant experience working with families. Preference will be given to those with a Minnesota Social Work License or license eligibility. Our ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, listening, computer and organizational skills. Knowledge of human services and family systems and experience in conflict resolution. You must also possess the ability to work effectively and professionally with diverse populations, within a team environment. This position requires reliable transportation and the flexibility to work a schedule that is responsive to client availability and need, which may require some evenings and weekends.
