  • Description: F-35 Program, Advanced Development Programs, and other company units cooperating to secure F-35 business.

    • Will coordinate F-35 business opportunities across the Corporation and with strategic partners and suppliers to ensure a cohesive, integrated product approach.

    • Will routinely conduct business at the executive level of US Government (General Officer/ Senior Executive Service / Undersecretary) and numerous customer groups to develop new business opportunities.

    • Will develop and manage New Business Fund budgets in close coordination with Business Development management.

    • Business capture activities include: strategy formulation, market development, opportunity qualification, customer relationship management, decision mapping, proposal development/management, development of

    price-to-win strategies, customer analysis, competitor assessment.

    • Active US Government secret security clearance required.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

    • Experience with U.S. Marine Corps organizational structure, leadership, budget and procurement policies and procedures.

    • Existing relationships within the U.S. Marine Corps and across U.S. Marine Corps Aviation.

    • Experience presenting to various levels of customer and company personnel (executive level, military)

    • Active Secret Clearance

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience on or working with the Headquarters Marine Corps or OPNAV N98 Naval Aviation Requirements Staffs

    • Ability to interact with a wide range of customer and company personnel - from executive level to boots on the flight-line - to develop and communicate a vision for F-35 and its future.

    • Should understand and be able to articulate 5th Generation fighter aircraft capabilities, tactics, weapons and threats.

    • Experience flying USMC fighters and/or experience in USMC fighter procurement, warfighting doctrine development, modernization, and sustainment policy.

    • Command experience preferred.

    • Master's Degree preferred.

    • Weapons School graduate. (MAWTS WTI/TOPGUN SFTI)

    • High-level service and/or Joint staff experience.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

    • Must have strong team skills, be an efficient self-starter, and be able to work with minimum direction.

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
