Experienced Veterinary Assistant

VCA Silver Lake Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to complement our talented team in Everett, Washington .

Our practice has been a staple in the Silver Lake community for over 20 years and has a loyal clientele. We take pride in providing high quality medicine while maintaining home town care.

What You'll Do: As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our dedicated team, ensuring that every patient receives exceptional care in a clean, comfortable environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the entire veterinary staff with daily tasks.

• Keeping treatment areas and exam rooms fully stocked and sanitized.

• Assisting in the restraint of animals during exams and procedures.

• Monitoring and reporting any health concerns to senior staff.

• Keeping accurate patient records and sterilizing equipment.

• Assist with Dentals, Surgical procedures, and post-operative care

• Assist in the collection of samples (blood, urine, etc.), administer medications as directed, and fill medications.

Compensation: Starting range is determined by skill set and years of

experience in the field. $22/hr. - $26/hr.

What We're Looking For:

• 6+ months of experience in a veterinary clinic or current enrollment in a Veterinary Assistant or Technician program
