    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Test Specialist (Site NDI) to support the Quality Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift!

    Position Responsibilities :

    • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.

    • Develops procedures and processes.

    • Performs tests or inspections and collects data.

    • Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.

    • Provides feedback on adverse trends.

    • Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.

    • Conducts certification preparation training.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing South Carolina (BSC).

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Able to work any shift.

    • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 30 feet.

    • 3+ years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units.

    • 3+ years of experience interpreting technical engineering requirements.

    • Experience leading teams.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Current or prior NAS410 Certified Level 2 in Ultrasonic Testing. Must have documented evidence available for Boeing Level 3 review.

    • Current or prior NAS410 Certified Level 2 in Eddy Current Testing

    • Must be capable of working in confined spaces and fit through a 10" x 18" opening

    • Must be able to work from heights in excess of 125 feet

    • Analyzing and interpreting Ultrasonic C-scans is an asset

    • Digital radiography experience is an asset

    • Experience inspecting composite material is an asset

    • Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.)

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Summary pay range: $58,650 - $79,350.
