    JOB SUMMARY:

    We are looking for a highly organized and dynamic Marketing Associate to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will play a central part in planning and executing a range of corporate events, ensuring smooth operations from inception to completion. Your expertise will assist us in providing memorable experiences while upholding exceptional standards and staying within budget. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to cultivate partnerships will be crucial in ensuring the success of these events and the ongoing growth of our brand in the financial industry and the communities we serve.

    Additionally, the Marketing Associate will offer general support across all Marketing team areas, including - but not limited to - supporting business unit marketing strategies and plans, tracking campaign metrics, maintaining reports, and collaborating closely with the Creative and Design team to develop marketing materials.

    Responsibilities

    Event Coordination

    • Coordinate meetings and special events, including arrangements for speakers, venues, and catering.

    • Manage attendee registration, engagement, and follow-ups.

    • Oversee on-site event coordination to ensure seamless execution.

    Event Planning and Development

    • Create and organize event schedules for multiple events.

    • Develop and conceptualize diverse event formats.

    • Plan event details, including seating, dining, and guest accommodations.

    Budget Management

    • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all costs remain within the allocated budget.

    • Create reliable financial reports and ensure timely collection of payments.

    • Process invoices and oversee vendor payments.

    Vendor and Logistics Management

    • Conduct site selection and research to identify optimal event locations.

    • Coordinate with vendors for various services, including logistics, catering, and audio-visual needs.

    • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and venues.

    Post-Event Analysis

    • Write comprehensive post-event reports to evaluate successes and opportunities for improvement.

    • Problem-Solving and Contingency Planning

    • Address and manage potential issues that may arise during events.

    Marketing Team Support

    • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans tailored to each business unit.

    • Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns.

    • Work closely with the Creative and Design team to develop compelling marketing materials.

    • Assist in the execution of corporate marketing initiatives and campaigns.

    • Provide general support across all areas of the Marketing team, including the handling of administrative tasks as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to pivot as needed in a challenging environment.

    • Highly organized, efficient, and attentive to detail, with excellent follow-up and follow through skills. Demonstrated ability to clearly define tasks and set priorities.

    • Knowledge of print production management and print files.

    • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    • Intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; find routine mathematical errors; and compute rate, ratio, and percent, including drafting and interpretating bar graphs.

    • Basic graphic design skills to create simple invitations, programs, certificates, signage, and other routine communications and outreach materials. (Required)

    • Experience working with WordPress and Splash (Preferred)

    • Effective organizational and time management skills

    • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a short-term and long-term basis.

    • Ability to make informal and formal presentations, inside and outside the organization and to speak before the assigned team or other groups as needed.

    • Ability to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.

    • Ability to manage vendor relationships, including invoicing and billing.

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

    • 2-3 years experience in marketing with equivalent or greater responsibilities, including project management.

    • Event Planning1year of proven event coordination experience (Required)

    SALARY RANGE: $78,000.00 - 98,000.00 USD; Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
