Estimator / Project Manager

Pisor Fence Division, Inc. is currently seeking a Estimating and Project Manager with a focus commercial public works fencing. This person will be responsible for the job from estimating, bidding and managing the projects to completion. Construction experience a plus!

Job Responsibilities:

• Determine the scope of work and creating estimates

• Bid preparation and job startup

• Process bid documents from agencies/owners for the department to ensure accurate job submissions

• Obtain and process shop drawings and submittals

• Contract review and crafting relevant RFI's

• Create job folders for the field crews

• Assist with procurement of job materials and ensure timely delivery

• Assist with creation of job schedules/bid calendars

• Communicate directly with vendors, subcontractors, engineers and project managers

• Perform a variety of office functions to ensure the daily operations of the department run efficiently

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent organization skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans

• Ability to read blue prints a plus

• Drafting / Shop drawing experience a plus

• Proficient in computer software; Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Calendars, Email

Compensation details: 45000-75000 Yearly Salary
