  • Job Title: Estimator

    Job Description

    Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete materials, labor, and equipment. Read and outline project specifications. Record data and information into an estimate template to determine labor, material, subcontractor, and other related items to determine cost. Procure quotes from vendors and subcontractors. Analyze historical project data to help determine current project cost. Record project data to help with future projects. Participate in preconstruction handoff meetings with Project Managers. Compare drawing revisions and quantify changes for updated bids and change orders. Participate in pre-bid job walks and site visits.

    Hard Skills

    • Estimating (Concrete, structural steel, metal stud takeoff)

    • Reading and understanding construction Blueprint/drawing

    Job Type

    This is a permanent position.

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Oregon.

    Work Environment

    In office position with limited site visits/job walks. Current estimating team is 2 other Estimators and a Project Coordinator.
