    Description:

    Primarily 1st and 2nd shift available - 8 and 12 hr shifts - M-F with possibility of occasional weekend coverage.

    JOB SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for the equipment and supply replenishment process of medical equipment and accessories to clinical areas in Trinity Health. This position handles incoming and outgoing accessories and equipment, physically moving inventory, assessing, and monitoring accessories and equipment quantities in all locations. Records supply replenishment needs. Addresses supply and equipment related customer service needs of hospital clinicians. Maintains constant vigilance for cost savings and cost reduction opportunities. Strives for superior performance by consistently providing as a product or service to leadership and staff that is recognized as ultimately contributing to the patient and staff experience. Recognizes and demonstrates understanding of patient and staff centered care.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Verifies accessories and equipment received

    2. Monitors accessories and equipment for outdates and rotates stock

    3. Monitors and maintains PAR levels of equipment and accessories in designated areas

    4. Moves equipment and accessories from equipment depot to designated areas as needed

    5. Assesses each clinical area supply room's inventory/PAR level and corrects as needed

    6. Processes all replenishment orders to appropriately determine inventory/PAR level

    7. Creates supply and accessory replenishment orders

    8. Physically picks all equipment and accessories from the equipment list and creates PAR stocked Clinical areas or equipment depot room

    9. Transports select broken or failing equipment to Clinical Engineering for repair and replacement

    10. Interacts with clinical staff and monitors customer satisfaction with accessories and equipment

    11. Cleans/disinfects used or dirty equipment, shelving, carts, and maintains work area in clean and orderly fashion

    12. Demonstrates job related aspects of safety, including proper body mechanics, work pacing and hand washing, isolation precautions, PPE donning/doffing, emergency code situations and awareness of patient safety always

    13. Demonstrates knowledge of and supports hospital mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality statements, corporate compliance plan, customer service standards, and the code of ethical behavior.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION

    1. High School diploma or equivalent required

    EXPERIENCE

    1. Supply chain or healthcare experience preferred

    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES/MOTOR SKILLS

    1. Able to travel independently throughout Trinity Health

    2. Small motor skills required for operating modern computer, office, and telephone equipment as utilized by Memorial Healthcare

    3. Walk/stand on a continuous basis

    4. Perform repetitive forward reaching, including overhead with bilateral arms on a continuous basis

    5. Perform repetitive fine motor coordination with bilateral hands on a continuous basis

    6. Read computer screens and printed labels of various sizes on a frequent basis

    7. Push supply cart weighing up to 150 pounds on a frequent basis

    8. Lift 50-pound box from floor to waist on an occasional basis
