Responsibilities include:
Support production activities through maximizing up-time and performance of critical process equipment.
Assume ownership of maintaining and calibrating production tools in accordance with specifications.
Improve tool up-time availability and utilization efficiency.
Improve Preventive Maintenance strategies and protocols.
Conduct systematic troubleshooting of equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime.
Work closely with process engineers to understand equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications.
Solve critical equipment issues, leveraging on experience and systematic approach.
Identify and pursue potential opportunities for hardware capability enhancement.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve quality, cost, and cycle time
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Applied Science, Physics or related engineering degree
8 years of relevant engineering experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment in any of the following modules: PVD, CVD, IMPLANT, EPI, CMP, PLASMA
Able to read and understand electrical, mechanical and instrumental schematics
Preferred Qualifications:
Equipment expertise in any of the following modules: PVD, CVD, IMPLANT, EPI, CMP, PLASMA AMAT, EBARA, ASM, AXCELIS equipment and processes.
Willing and able to rapidly learn, own, and contribute to performance of all above tool sets not currently experienced on
Experience with tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation
Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and SPC techniques. Experienced with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationship
