Chemours is seeking an Environmental Intern to join our Minerals Enterprise team! This position will report directly to the Environmental Manager.

Location: Jessup, GA

Hours:Full-time or part-time schedule, flexible to candidate needs

Term: 3-month assignment between May-August 2024(i.e. 3-month assignment between May-August)

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work with staff to conduct environmental field sampling of wastewater, stormwater, and drinking water. Interpret data of field environmental sample results
• Assist with data entry and environmental metrics. Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance inspections and audits
• Assist with tasks for environmental compliance with Federal, State, and Local rules/regulations
• Complete required Environmental, Health and Safety training for the duties and hazards of the position

The following is required for this role:

• Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above at time of assignment
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Biology, or similar fields
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

The following is preferred for this role

• 3.0 GPA or above
• Technical Experience Preferred
• Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom
