  • Entry Level Production Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a technically proficient 2nd Ops Technician to join our team. This role involves conducting tooling set-ups, including tool installation, machine preparation, and barrel cleaning to support the injection molding process. You will also be responsible for material distribution for molding operations and assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of production problems. Furthermore, you will monitor product quality and process productivity. You will be expected to perform equipment set-ups as directed, including installing injection molds, handling set-up processes, and ensuring the equipment is generating good parts. The role also involves adjusting machine parameters to correct defects observed during production, working with process engineering for troubleshooting, process improvement, optimization, improved cycle time and engineering tests. You will also be required to collect and enter data as needed to support documented procedures, handle robot programming and optimization, and manage barrel cleaning and grinder cleaning.

    This is a fully on-site position in Wilsonville, Oregon.

    Work Environment

    Our workplace is an Injection Metal Molding company. The floor is stacked with Molding Machines and therefore it can be a fairly crowded environment. We maintain a high level of safety focus. The working hours for this role are Thursday to Sunday, from 5:30 pm to 4:00 am.
