The duties and responsibilities of this temporary position are to act as an Engineering Services Advisor on one of our programs to include preparing and conducting training for new engineers on design, development, fabrication, assembly, test and qualification. The candidate will also assume a mentoring role to improve overall engineering strengths in the technical support disciplines.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for improving upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.

• Act in a mentoring capacity to technical support staff to include assisting in the development of a new Canister Technical Lead.

• Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.

• Analyzes, maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes.

• Produces drawings, reports and engineering documentation.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience interpreting specifications, schematics, and/or design drawings.

• Experience developing or redlining technical manuals associated with missile processing activities.

• Experience with verification and validation of product, packaging, labelling, and shipping documentation.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Investigated and resolved Canister fabrication, assembly, test and qualification challenges in support of Canister production.

• Experience leading supplier qualifications of missile canisters.

• Provided data to support flight test activities related to the Canister.

• Experience in providing technical support for final Missile Assembly and Testing.

• Acceptable communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels.

• Experience support First Article Inspections and completes related documentation.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.
