    Position Summary:

    Are you passionate about developing innovative medical devices and have a hands-on electrical focus? Join our Advanced Development Group (ADG) as an Engineering Specialist! In this role, you will play a key part in product development, utilizing your expertise in electrical layout and schematics to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Your contributions will support our internal growth and enhance healthcare solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Follow quality systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as outlined in the Training Matrix.
    • Collaborate on automation projects, focusing on design, implementation, and qualification of automated systems.
    • Design, review, and build equipment, fixtures, and tools in a lab environment to support production and process needs.
    • Assist with the setup and qualification of new equipment, including creating maintenance procedures as needed.
    • Manage projects with critical deadlines to align with ADG goals.
    • Identify, design, and implement new technologies to enhance capabilities.
    • Wire control panels for automated equipment, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
    • Create electrical layouts and schematics, translating complex designs into practical applications.
    • Troubleshoot controls, circuits, and electrical systems effectively.
    Qualifications:
    • Self-starter with a proactive approach to daily and project tasks.
    • Eager to learn and explore new ideas and designs.
    Experience:
    • Experience in developing medical devices is a plus.
    • Proficient in Solidworks, Solidworks Electrical, or similar CAD systems.
    • Knowledge of safety procedures in controlled environments is beneficial.
    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
    • Strong skills in electrical drafting and design, with a focus on wiring for industrial and automation control systems.
    • Hands-on experience creating electrical layouts and schematics is essential for this role.
    • Familiarity with industrial control components such as PLCs, HMIs, motors, pneumatics, and sensors is crucial for executing our automation projects effectively.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics, translating complex designs into actionable tasks.
    • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork.
    • Basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite and business operating systems.
    Education:

    Bachelor's degree, Associate degree, or relevant certification in a technical field.
