The Opportunity:
Engineer in Training for our Transportation and Infrastructure business as part of our Saskatchewan Bridge Team, located at our Regina or Saskatoon offices (Saskatoon preferred). The successful candidate will join a high performing team of professionals and will support the delivery of transportation structure projects, including highway and pedestrian bridges, bridge-size culverts, retaining walls, drainage structures, and special projects. Duties include inspection, evaluation, analysis, design, cost estimating, tender preparation, shop drawing review, and contract/construction administration.
This is a contract position from approximately April/May 2025 until October 2025. It is expected that this position will include a large amount of field work all over Saskatchewan.

What you can expect to do here:
On-site supervision and contract administration of bridge rehabilitation/replacement work;
Conduct bridge inspections, assessment and provide rehabilitation design assistance;
Responsible for preparing specifications and contract documents;
Responsible for reporting and assist in preparation of reports and proposals; and
Other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to WSP:
A strong work-ethic and the ability to communicate effectively;
A team player with a willingness to help others;
A highly motivated individual willing to take on challenges;
Experience with field review and inspection during construction;
Undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university; and
Should be registered EIT and/or eligible for professional licensing with APEGS.
