    The Avionics HR Business Partner organization has an opportunity for an internship for a student who desires to learn more about Human Resources and Employee Relations and enter the Human Resources field upon graduation. HR Business Partners and Employee Relations Partners provide consultation, critical analysis, and resolution on employee issues working collaboratively with and empowering business leaders to make decisions. We are viewed as a key consultants in evaluating risk and our advice is taken highly into consideration. 

    What You Will Do:

    • Provide strategic partnership to business leaders in our Avionics Business Unit

    • Assist HR Business Partners with organizational effectiveness and talent management strategies

    • Learn about the performance management process at Collins Aerospace

    • Assist with HR Investigations

    • Assist HR Business Partner with leader support

    • Participate as project team member on HR Strategic Projects

    • Performance Management: Learn how to manage and address performance issues, including conducting performance reviews and implementing improvement plans.

    • HR Policies and Procedures: Get acquainted with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that govern employee behavior, benefits, and organizational practices.

    • Communication Skills: Enhance your ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, including delivering difficult messages and providing clear, supportive feedback.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

    The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
