  • Job Description:

    This position is responsible for providing a full continuum of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services. This is a mid-level position assuming more responsibility and complexity in work performed than the EAP Counselor position.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Serves as consultant regarding behavioral health related matters in the workplace.

    • Works closely with team of EAP professionals.

    • Works closely with key organizational stakeholders in support of employee well-being, health, safety and productivity.

    • Supports Key Performance Indicators of the program, Human Resources and the enterprise.

    • Provides mental health related intake, assessment, short-term therapeutic intervention, support, referral and case management for a broad range of personal and work-related concerns for individuals, couples and families.

    • Create and maintain confidential electronic medical records in accordance with EAP and HIPAA guidelines.

    • Proficient in utilizing internal documentation and scheduling system. Use telehealth platform to provide services as requested.

    • Consults with HR and system leaders regarding difficult employee situations; provide services on behalf of supporting performance improvement and emotional well-being of employees.

    • Effectively responds to urgent/critical incident related calls within the enterprise.

    • Provides EAP related trainings both in person and virtually; demonstrating expertise in design and delivery.

    • Provides crisis intervention services across system in conjunction with other EAP and system staff

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.

    • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.).

    • Three (3) years of clinical experience with at least two (2) years of EAP experience; additional clinical experience can be substituted for EAP experience.

    • Able to function in an autonomous work environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in working with teams in support of emotional well-being, health and productivity.

    • General understanding of matters impacting employee health and productivity.

    • Experience in training, coaching and facilitating.

    • Demonstrated organizational and effective communication skills

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

    $34.06 - $52.55
