Job Summary:

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital? is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for an opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, FL. 

• Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine required
• Will consider Family Medicine Boarded with extensive Emergency Medicine experience

• Flexible scheduling
• Independent Contractor Status (1099)
• Back-end support services including recruitment, credentialing, renewals, billing, follow up clinic support and more

• 44 bed ED with fast track
• 8 hours pediatric ER coverage daily
• Critical care sub-specialty support 
• 55,000 annual patient visits
• Affiliated Freestanding EDs: Destin ER & Navarre ER
• 309 bed HCA level 2 trauma facility
• Medical ICU- 33 beds (plus an additional 8 CVICU beds)
• Stealth navigation system with O arm and Mazor spine robot
• Certified primary stroke center
• Currently hosting 3rd and 4th year D.O. students from Auburn’s VCOM (D.O.) School
• Internal medicine residency program
• Transitional residency program to start 2025
• Named among the top 10% in the nation by Healthgrades for cardiac surgery, joint replacement, and patient safety
