    What you'll do:

    • This position will provide coverage for the Emergency Department and inpatient units as needed. Works closely with the coordinators, nurses, and providers. Select responsibilities include participating in patient care rounds, providing order verification and drug information services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for the programs and organization, overseeing and/or managing medication therapy, proactively participating in quality improvement initiatives, and precepting PGY1 pharmacy residents, among other responsibilities.

    What you'll need for this job:

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and/or PGY2 in specialty area or equivalent experience; Board Certification preferred, as well

    • Residency: Pharmacy Practice - General (Preferred), Residency - Specialty (Preferred)

    • IL state licensure as a Pharmacist

    • Preferred: Board Certified in Specialty Area
