    Job Description:

    Under the direction of the Emergency Management Program Manager, the Emergency Management Partner assists with plans for emergency Management for Essentia. Assists with development, management and annual evaluation of the Emergency Operation Plan. Work involves assisting in coordination of all operational activities and planning for emergency support functions for the Essentia West Health Emergency Response Plan. Responsible to assist Essentia West facilities are working to meet all regulatory requirements for emergency preparedness. Assesses needs on an ongoing basis and develops an action plan to fulfill defined needs. Organizes, manages, conducts and documents emergency preparedness exercises, including decontamination and other drills, to support compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines. Coordinates and implements education for leaders, staff and departments of the Essentia Health System. Along with the emergency management program manager will serve as a representative of Essentia West in community, regional, state, and national emergency operations, and co-coordinates emergency response activities with state, county and municipal authorities. Collaborates with emergency management leaders from other regions of the Essentia System.

    Work Experience

    Demonstrated experience in emergency management required with healthcare experience strongly preferred.

    Demonstrated experience in planning and managing projects/programs, including demonstrated ability to work in a cooperative manner with a variety of colleagues.

    Experience with the presentation of training programs to a diverse audience.

    Education Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's degree preferred.

    Successful completion of FEMA courses 100, 200 and 700

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
