    Description

    Position Summary

    While working as an Embroidery Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the embroidery machine to create high-quality embroidered products. This role involves setting up the machine, preparing materials, monitoring the embroidery process, and ensuring the finished product meets quality standards.

    Requirements

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Set up and operate embroidery machines according to specifications, load and unload materials and threads, and Input designs into the machine software and adjust settings as needed.
    • Select appropriate fabrics and threads for each job and Prepare materials by hooping, aligning, and securing them in the machine.
    • Monitor the embroidery process to ensure high-quality output, inspect finished products for accuracy, completeness, and defects, and make necessary adjustments to correct any issues.
    • Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues, and report major machine problems to the supervisor for repair.
    • Work closely with the design team to ensure the correct implementation of designs and collaborate with other production team members to meet production deadlines
    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
    • 2+ years of experience operating and embroidery machine
    • Familiarity with different types of fabrics and threads
    Computer Skills
    • Basic computer skills for inputting and adjusting designs
    • Proficiency with embroidery design software
    Other Qualifications
    • Ability to pass a background check
    • Ability to write effective correspondence to customers and coworkers
    • Vision abilities required by this job include being able to see clearly at 20 inches or less, distinguish colors, and adjust focus
    • Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor technical issues
