    Job Description

    Reporting to Production Manager the Electronics Supervisor directs and controls activities related to the Electronics department. The Electronics Supervisor will ensure products are repaired and shipped to our customer on-time meeting or exceeding our targeted key performance indicators (KPIs). The Electronics Supervisor will also develop SOPs and work instructions for distribution procedures and train staff. The Supervisor Electronics supports and promotes quality activities to meet regulatory and quality requirements while supporting business goals and improving customer satisfaction. The Supervisor of Electronics will be accountable for developing and executing solutions relating to quality and ensuring the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained effectively in the organization.

    Job Duties

    • Develops daily production plan for technicians.

    • Coaches and mentors Technicians and team leads.

    • Drives employee idea generation and implementation of continuous improvements.

    • Develops and write SOPs and work instructions for Service department procedures and train staff.

    • Support in implementation and completion of Change Notices (CNs), Change Orders (COs) New Repair Introduction (NRI), New Product Introduction (NPI), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) Corrective and Preventative Action, (CAPAs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs) to achieve acceptable levels of compliance.

    • Investigate and reports on discrepant material notices (DMNs).

    • Accountable to achieving departmental key performance KPI's.

    • Proposes recommendations for improving existing operational policies procedures and processes.

    • Coordinates and completes investigations for customer and assets.

    • Coaching and developing staff including addressing performance issues.

    • Provides recommendations on personnel issues and resolution.

    • Trains new employees on introduction of new processes.

    • Established and monitors employee MBO goals through Success Factors.

    • Perform all other essential duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications

    Required:

    • Minimum High School Diploma or College Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technician or equivalent preferred experience

    • Minimum 2 years of electronics repair experience preferred.

    • 2 years of supervisory responsibility preferred.

    Preferred:

    • Strong statistical analytical and decision-making sense of urgency skills.

    • Quality and Customer oriented. Experience in coordinating activities among departments or groups.

    • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

    • Strong knowledge of development methodologies and problem-solving skills.

    • Must possess a high degree of personal organization and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

    • Able to perform required duties with minimum supervision.

    • Complete or be working to complete a Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification project to improve a job-related process. Knowledge of Health Canada regulations desirable.

    • Strong communication and technical skills Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

    • Handles stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to problem solve and make decisions and ability to interact with internal customers of all levels Quality and Customer oriented.

    • Experience in coordinating activities among departments or groups.

    • Knowledge of Health Canada regulations desirable.

    • Experience with WMI, Datasweep and SAP is an asset.
