Job Description

The company, established in 1997, initially provided electrical and communications solutions to the Harbour Centre building, known for its innovative tech hub. Today, they are a design-build, end-to-end electrical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial projects across the BC Lower Mainland. Electricians will be responsible for performing electrical work, maintenance and repair, troubleshooting, and other tasks. They will work on challenging design-build and electrical construction projects within the commercial and light industrial sectors, primarily focusing on commercial builds and tenant improvements (TI).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Work Environment

Currently, the company has 40 electricians and plans to expand to over 60. The standard shift is Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime depending on the project and deadlines. Wage ranges are as follows: Foremen $40-46/hour, Service Electricians $45/hour, Data techs (cable techs, low voltage, cat5/6 cable) $22-28/hour, Journeymen $35-40/hour, and 3rd and 4th year apprentices $27-33/hour
