Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and assembling panels for trailer-mounted mobile equipment. This includes, but is not limited to: coil tubing units, fracking trucks, and cementer trucks. The role involves kitting, setting up cable trays, organizing wiring, and testing. The candidate may also be involved in service, panel assembly, or fabrication tasks. All work is done local to Calgary, no travel required.

The shift is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime as required.

Pay: Depends on experience but ranges from $36 - $42/hr

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service electrical panels for mobile equipment.

• Assemble panels for trailer-mounted equipment such as coil tubing units, fracking trucks, and cementer trucks.

• Perform kitting, set up cable trays, organize wiring, and conduct testing.

• Work in service as well as panel assembly or fabrication as needed.

Essential Skills

• Electrician with experience in industrial controls and low voltage.

• Automotive electrical experience.

• Experience as an Electrical Technician or Journeyman Electrician.

• Mechanically inclined with service and manufacturing experience.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have own tools.

• Experience with well-servicing equipment is a plus.

• Experience with mobile equipment and industrial automation is advantageous.
