Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical layout, conduit bending, and installation of various electrical components. The candidate will also be responsible for switchgear installation, pulling wire, and working with lighting packages and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine electrical layouts.

• Perform conduit bending and installation using EMT, galvanized, and rigid conduits.

• Install switchgear, mount boxes and panels, and pull wire.

• Rough in MC & BX cable and install Lutron lighting packages.

• Work on fire alarm systems and ensure proper installation of electrical devices.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure compliance with NEC code.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical layout and conduit bending.

• Experience with EMT, galvanized, and rigid conduits.

• Skilled in switchgear installation and terminations (120-480 Volts).

• Ability to install outlets, wiring, and electrical devices.

• Knowledge of NEC code and blueprint reading.

• 4-10 years of experience in electrical construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• SST 10 certification.

• OSHA 30 certification.

Work Environment

The position is based in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a half-hour lunch break. The job requires safety orientation, PPE at all times, and mobile clock-in codes for punching in.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00
