Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

The Assembler will be trained to work in different areas, with work consisting of 60% mechanical tasks (using hand and power tools, soldering, etc.) and 40% electronics. The role also requires using SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

• Conduct electronic assembly tasks including soldering.

• Utilize SAP for inventory management and tracking.

• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.

• Test and service various components using multimeters and other tools.

• Work in different departments such as Battery Tech, Pulser Lab, and Probe Lab, depending on business needs.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of experience with hand and power tools.

• Experience with drills and other mechanical tools.

• Basic soldering skills.

• Ability to use a multimeter.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

• Strong verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with downhole tools.

• SAP experience.

• Overhead crane experience.

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in electronics.

Work Environment

The work environment is a shop setting with a diverse team from various cultures. It is a very clean environment. The shift is from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with lots of overtime potential in the future. Most employees, including both lead hand and supervisor, are from Aerotek. The role starts as an NWD Level 2 service tech working on servicing a new tool sensor product line, with potential to move to other areas such as Battery Tech, Pulser Lab, and Probe Lab.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nisku, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00
