  • Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers is looking to add a compassionate member to work out of our Ohio locations in Warren or Clinton county.

    In this role, you will provide supportive services to individuals with mental illness. You will teach daily living skills and ensure safety and well-being for our clients.

    Core Responsibilities:
    • Works as a consultant to Headstart, child care centers, preschools and kindergarten classrooms
    • Provide observations, intervention plans and suggestions for behavioral management
    • Screen children for social emotional health
    • Provide positive parenting techniques for parents and caregivers
    • Train early childhood professionals
    Job Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or early childhood required.
    • Certified Health Education Specialist, community and family educator and public health credentials considered.
    • Understanding and compassion for the individuals and centers that we serve.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up in a timely manner.
    • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
    • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Adaptable to teaching various learning styles.

    Solutions is a non-profit behavioral health organization that promotes wellness in mind, body and spirit through the provision of effective, affordable mental health and substance use services that promote recovery and overall health. We provide crisis services, outpatient counseling for mental health and alcohol/drug problems, psychiatric (pharmacological management) services, case management and other specialized services.
