    Qualifications You Must Have

    The Columbus Compliance team is looking for a Document Custodian. The Document Custodian role is a key part of the Audit and Compliance Team within Quality. This role is critical to Pratt's AS9100 certification. The Document Custodian ensures accuracy in all aspects of document revision control and interfaces with all functions across the business.

    • Be the primary point of contact for the Pratt Quality Management System to process revision activity and newly released documents to the organization.

    • Responsible for site documentation maintenance and improvement projects; develop procedures, standard work and forms

    • Provide document control training; accountable for management of the Quality homepage

    • Perform daily compliance reporting;, corrective action reporting and site presentation generation for Corrective Action Board; audit readiness review reporting and quality training compliance reporting; monitor eye exam compliance

    • Enter shop audit data in tracker; develop and/or support toolbox talk slides; input quality training records; AS9100 certification and two annual audits

    • Be available during the weekend as business needs arise

    • Travel up to 5%

    Qualifications We Prefer

    • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in an organization that operates under certification or regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, or other standards within a highly regulated industry)

    • In absence of a degree, 8 or more years' experience in an organization that operates under certification or regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, or other standards within a highly regulated industry)

    • Experience in revision control of documents

    • Microsoft Office Experience

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

    Qualifications We Prefer

    • AS9100 or ISO 9001 or similar Auditor Certification

    • Internal audit experience

    • Experience creating presentations, reporting metrics, and data input/management in Microsoft Office

    • Experience developing procedures, standard work instructions, or training material in Microsoft Office

    • Experience with using Lean or CORE Principles and tools for process improvement and/or corrective action

    • Six Sigma or advanced Lean Certifications

    Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

    Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

    The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
