    General Summary

    Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers' request for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishments or utility company.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Answers all incoming calls and keeps proper record of date and time received.

    • Records information, such as name, address, or service to be rendered from customer.

    • Records information such as name, supervisor, time of call out in accordance with callout guidelines, and assigned shift for employees calling out.

    • Sends timely formal communication to management team of call outs.

    • Assists managers with scheduling special projects requested by customer.

    • Assists Project Manager with calls or writing the customer to insure satisfactory performance of service.

    • Keeps record of service calls and and closes out work orders in government database.

    • May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to employees and other departments, using radio telephone equipment.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:

    • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a dispatch or similar customer service center position.

    • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

    • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.

    • Strong decision making and analytical skills.

    • Strong work ethic and team player mentality.

    Work Environment

    • Be able to sit for extended period of time.

    • Be able to lift 25 lbs.

    • Must be able to pass a local background check and have the ability to obtain and maintain NAC/LAC clearance after hire.
