    Position Summary

    Director of WW Medical - Early Differentiation and Pipeline (EDAP) Strategy and Operations plays a pivotal role in driving and optimizing the strategic planning and execution of WW Medical - EDAP priorities. This position is crucial in shaping the role of Medical in enhancing the value of early pipeline assets. This position reports to and collaborates closely with the VP, WW Medical, Early Differentiation and Pipeline.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the preparation of business reviews and strategy presentations, effectively linking pipeline assets and priorities to present a cohesive enterprise model that improves the value of the early asset portfolio.

    • Serve as a key member of the WW Medical EDAP Leadership team, responsible for creating and driving agendas that align with strategic goals and objectives.

    • Act as an ambassador for the WW Medical EDAP organization with key stakeholders.

    • Support the WW Medical EDAP Leadership Team to ensure active involvement and preparedness for stakeholder engagement with both internal and external audiences.

    • Provide comprehensive Strategy and Operations support for EDAP team activities, including leading matrix team initiatives and coordinating with therapeutic areas.

    • Offer strategic input and executional partnership to support budget planning, critical medical-led activities, medical evidence generation planning, and external stakeholder engagement.

    • Serve as a critical interface between key WW matrix team partners across medical, clinical development, and commercial to drive strategic focus, identify key issues, and foster collaboration.

    • Lead and ensure timely execution of strategic and functional planning initiatives across multiple key matrix partners to ensure optimal impact of team.

    • Work closely with Finance and BI&A to ensure full readiness for all financial processes, including annual budget planning and ongoing projections.

    • Lead talent strategy and professional development opportunities for the EDAP team, including planning professional development trainings, team strategic planning forums, and managing the WW medical Onboarding program.

    • Partner with WW Medical Strategy & Operations, TA and MEG Leads to create and implement a culture and talent engagement strategy that supports the broader WW Medical enterprise.

    By focusing on these responsibilities, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the EDAP team and increasing the overall value of early pipeline assets.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • BS/BA degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred (eg, Pharm D, PhD)

    • 10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience

    • Medical and strategic planning knowledge; familiarity with US and/or other major market dynamics, Medical capabilities, and legal/regulatory landscape preferred

    • Experience working with, leading, and managing multi-functional matrix teams to accomplish specified goals

    • Entrepreneurial & problem-solving mindset

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences

    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast moving and increasingly complex environment with limited direction is required

    • Strategic thinking, with an ability to take an enterprise view

    • Passion for building and leading culture and talent engagement initiatives
