    Advance your career as a Retail Sales Director-Northeast Region. This is a remote opportunity the selected person must reside in one of the following states: Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Virginia.

    This job exists to lead one third of the U.S. based dedicated retail sales team within the assigned region and across multiple teams in the activation of sales strategies and monthly priorities by our account partners to ensure that we, "Show Up as One Company" for the betterment of our retail partners. People development is another key element of why this role exists to help foster a growth mentally through, "Unleashing a Purpose-Driven Culture."

    Working Relationships

    Reports to the Vice President of Retail Sales in the WK Kellogg Co Sales Organization.

    Leads 4-5 Area Sales Teams that each includes 11-13 Retail Sales Leads spanning 50+ direct and indirect reports.

    Peer group consists of 3 total Region Sales Directors.

    Working with Account Team(s) and sales partners through demonstrating, "A Make It Better Mindset."

    HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    Responsible for generating sales revenue +$500 to $800 million annually.

    Overseeing several national and regional customers that will comprise the makeup of the area's 4,000 to 6,000 grocery and mass retail stores.

    Delivering on key business metrics POS (Point of Sales) and shipment budget on a quarterly and yearly basis is critical through, "Winning with Purpose."

    Region area spans across multiple U.S. States resulting in some overnights with Average travel of 30% or greater.

    Selling, negotiating, and activation of business plans by partnering with our account team and customers through, the ability to, "Create and Act Boldly". This includes helping your team sell at the store level and your responsibility to sell to a higher level within the customer operations team at the market/division/region/VP level.

    The ability to leverage business intelligence data (IRI, Neilsen, etc.) will play an integral role for this position.

    People development and motivation will play a pivotal role in this position. Having the ability to "Bring Out the Beast in Each Other" will play a part in creative solutions for success.

    Demonstrating a Strategic Mindset through the greater than expected impact on elevating the broader Retail Sales skill set development, point of purchase activation, and reward & recognition initiatives.

    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

    Significant Sales Experience combined with people management experience.

    Account Management Experience (i.e., Headquarters, Region, District, or Market Level).

    Strong knowledge and usage of business analytics to help drive results. The ability to build a selling story through data (i.e., account shipment data, POS data, Neilsen, IRI, etc.).

    The ability to communicate complex and detail information to multiple individuals/audiences, verbally and through written mediums.

    Valid driver's license and clean driving record with the ability to drive to various locations throughout the day or workweek.

    Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years relevant experience required.

    Compensation Insights:

    Salary Range: $165,000.00 -$185,000.00

    Annual Bonus Percentage Target: 27%
