    Job Description

    Primary Job Function

    Position leads Specialty Price Forecasting team (Creon, Linzess, Mavyret, and mature brands) supporting the commercial brands and finance teams for all Gross-to-Net (GTN) sales planning and reporting. Estimate/review all rebates/discounts for products. Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed. Prepare all required schedules for Plan/LBE/LRP. Train and lead team. The position will have four direct reports and will lead complex and critical processes that requires a high level of communication with teams and other organizations.

    Core Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Lead all aspects for planning and reporting for Specialty products for Plan, LBE and LRP.

    • Full responsibility for detailed forecast of products within Specialty portfolio.

    • Work closely with Market Access and pricing to review GTN forecast.

    • Attend LBE meetings and Plan/LRP meetings with the brand teams. Primary contact for brand team for any pricing related questions.

    • Conduct and/or review price scenario analysis for various planning cycles.

    • Assist in and/or review ad hoc analysis as requested on various marketing initiatives.

    • Work with forecasting and commercial finance to present a consolidated net sales message.

    • Coordinate all team monthly tasks and responsibilities.

    • Provide leadership and support for the Specialty reserve balance sheet process.

    • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

    • Train, mentor and develop direct reports and other team members. Create an environment that attracts, retains, and motivates a diverse and highly talented workforce.

    • Provide ad hoc support as needed for any systems related projects and various outside requests.

    Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

    There will be four direct reports for this position. This position manages complex and critical processes. This requires a high level of communication with other teams and functional groups including volume forecasting, commercial brand teams, finance, and market access.

    Position Accountability/Scope:

    The incumbent is responsible to provide financial leadership to the Specialty brand teams in development of the Plans, LRPs and LBEs. This position directly supports the brand teams and reports to the Director, U.S. Therapeutics Price Forecasting. The incumbent is expected to operate independently to accomplish the goals and responsibilities of the position; however constant alignment with the Director is critical due to the nature of the role. In addition, the Director, Specialty Price Forecasting has freedom to independently set priorities so that both planned and unplanned departmental objectives are achieved. This position supports and communicates with all levels of operating and financial management on an on-going basis.

    Qualifications

    Skills/Experience Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

    12+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance.

    The candidate must also possess the following skill sets

    • The ability to interact with and support senior level management and to partner effectively and independently in a matrix organization.

    • Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, planning and decision making skills.

    • Extensive interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical and content strategy skills.

    • Strong broad systems knowledge across a wide range of technology.

    • The ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities and shifting priorities under tight timeframes.

    • A highly motivated self-starter who can translate broad directions into high quality analytical output.

    • Open to new ideas, creative and utilizes value-added principles in approach.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Prefer experience in pricing, forecasting, or FP&A.

    Education Requirements

    BA/BS in Finance or Accounting. MBA/CPA preferred.
