    Individual is responsible for program oversight and operational excellence in support of the National Security Solutions, Directed Logistics Programs. This business area is comprised of programs requiring worldwide deployment, logistics, and operational supply chain support across the Intelligence Community. The Director of Operations will ensure logistics support is provided in a manner that ensures covert business needs are met and handled with the utmost discretion and straightforward mission support. This position will provide leadership and oversight to a team that has broad experience in both military logistics and maintenance operations and the ability to support internationally. The Director of Operations will provide direction and oversight to ensure adherence to common work processes and procedures, ensure leaders are meeting employee needs and deployments are properly executed, and coordinate and communicate requirements across all support functions (Finance, HR, Security, Recruiting, Contracts). This role is responsible for supporting operations across the business area. Activities include, but not limited to: establishing/maintaining customer relationships; providing strategies and leadership in proposal development; understanding all operational, financial, contractual elements of the programs and capable of briefing V2X Sr Leadership up to C Suite; leading internal/external reviews; developing growth and business development strategies within the AOP and SGP processes; mentoring subordinate Program Managers and Leaders; working across the V2X lines of business to exploit and maximize company capabilities and offerings; partnering with industry to build competitive teams as required; ensuring the workforce has the tools, skills, training, and support necessary for success; and growing the V2X brand within the Government, Military, and Intelligence Communities.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the oversight of and operational interface with assigned individual programs in accordance with the established V2X and government policies, procedures, systems, and requirements to include P&L responsibility and operational excellence.

    • Mentoring and professional development oversight of subordinate program managers and key program staff as well as succession planning.

    • Participates in and supports the business development process, to include milestone reviews, strategy development, customer interface and capture activities.

    • Responsibilities include program planning, start-up (phase-in) and subcontracting strategy, contract changes, customer daily relations, subcontractor relations and program reporting.

    • Performs V2X enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional operations, COEs, VCs, and support systems.

    • Ensures delivery of and reviews required technical and financial reports to show progress of programs to V2X senior management and the customer.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree is preferred and at least 12 years' experience.

    • Military background or commercial DoD contractor experience in logistics, acquisitions, military planning, and deployment services.

    • Minimum of eight years of related technical experience required and five years of program management experience required.

    • Demonstrated experience with all aspects of program and project management (i.e., technical, contractual, human resources, administrative, financial).

    • Demonstrated, recent experience managing $200M + TCV and 250+ Cleared FTE multinational contracts or task orders within the IC.

    • In-depth, demonstrated knowledge of DoD and IC business development principles and successes in growing large, complex programs.

    • Demonstrated high level analytic skills in managing multiple tasks, managing large workforces, solving complex technical, administrative, and managerial problems.

    • Extensive business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area. Advanced leadership skills.

    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Must have excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.

    • The successful candidate will understand how to manage the P&L of the program assigned, the impacts of cost, and the structure of contracts to best maximize the profitability for the company.

    • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.

    • Normal office enviroment with some work being accomplished in remote austere environments. Must be willing to travel worldwide to include remore austere locations as needed.

    • Active TS/SCI required.
