We develop highly sophisticated digital Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and we are looking for a motivated Operational Analyst to develop and assess next generation capabilities for tomorrow s advanced aircraft.

BAE s Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area in the Electronic Systems (ES) sector has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Mission Analysis to help shape the future of our full spectrum Electronic Warfare capabilities for both defense and attack applications from the sea to the stars. This role will work closely with peers across the ECS business area to mature and develop strategies aligned to the technology growth plan toward the goal of creating the market s fastest pathway from the lab to the field in the collaboration with the US Armed Forces and our allies.

This full-time role is with the Mission-Driven Analysis and Testing team, which utilizes operational analysis to develop scenarios for injection into target hardware and feeds the hardware performance test results back into the mission analysis.

    Position responsibilities

    • Interface with customers, particularly product line directors, as the primary point of contact to scope and execute operational analysis studies and tasks.

    • Build a stronger linkage between the actual hardware/emulators and the effects in Operational Analysis models.

    • Identify validation approaches for operational analysis study results.

    • Execute Operational Analysis studies, working with Study Managers and providing direction and feedback to Ops Analysts.

    • Build and contribute to IRAD plans and generate IRAD final reports.

    • Lead working groups to solve Operational Analysis capability needs.

    • Work with the Operational Analysis leadership team to identify needed capabilities and set technical roadmaps to fill capability gaps.

    • Grow Operational Analysis across ECS by capturing new OA work in programs and product lines.

    • Develop viable concept solutions, identify, and track technical risks, and lead technical teams.

Work location can be Nashua, NH or Manchester, NH. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
