  • Job Title: Director of Finance

    Job Description

    Oversees financial operations and directs corporate financial planning structure. Manages cash flow and maintains banking relationships. Provides leadership and is accountable for the performance and direction of staff. Coordinates, analyzes, and reports financial performance to management. Prepares short and long-term financial forecasts for internal and external use. Oversees and prepares documentation for external audit and tax functions, coordinating activities with outside audit firms. Manages insurance and licensing renewals, coordinating with external vendors. Performs vendor analysis for Tier 1 vendors and analyzes financial performance of subsidiaries and related entities.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and accountability for staff performance.

    • Coordinate, analyze, and report financial performance to management.

    • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts for internal management and external parties.

    • Oversee and prepare documentation for external audits and tax functions.

    • Coordinate activities with outside audit firms.

    • Manage insurance and licensing renewals, coordinating with external vendors.

    • Perform vendor analysis for Tier 1 vendors.

    • Analyze financial performance of subsidiaries and related entities.

    • Prepare and oversee documentation for external audits for clients and states.

    • Coordinate and analyze the financial performance of subsidiaries and other related party entities.

    Essential Skills

    • Audit support

    • Audit policies

    • Month-end accounting

    • CPA (active or inactive)

    • Public accounting experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

    • 10+ years of experience with at least 3 years of management

    • Experience in accounting for multiple inter-company accounts, reconciliation, and consolidations

    • Proficiency in corporate accounting principles including GAAP, FASB, and internal controls

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks

    • Experience with Vlookups and pivot tables

    • Experience in managing a team

    • Strong interpersonal skills

    • Ability to transition into CFO role in the next couple of years

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00
