Director of Finance

Description

We are searching for a Director of Finance to join a team in the private medical industry in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be taking charge of financial planning, executing financial reports, using analytical skills to drive financial decisions, and overseeing finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies for the organization

• Oversee the preparation and evaluation of financial reporting and accounting operations

• Direct the financial planning and budgeting processes

• Utilize analytical skills to guide financial decisions and operations

• Handle the audit requirements and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations

• Oversee the management of company finances and conduct regular financial assessments

• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve financial objectives

• Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations

• Provide managerial oversight, ensuring the effectiveness of the finance team

• Ensure operational procedures are in line with current financial policies and regulations.

Requirements - Proven experience in a similar role within the private medical sector

• Demonstrable knowledge in Policies & Procedures within the finance sector

• Proficiency in Audit processes and implementation

• Expertise in Process Improvement and its application in financial operations

• Strong managerial skills with experience in Managerial Oversight

• Ability to provide Operational Oversight ensuring smooth running of all financial operations

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

• Advanced proficiency in financial software applications

• Relevant certifications or degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar field.
